- She was born on 19 December 1990 and raised in California state in the United States.
- At the age of 4, she was supporting her 10-year-old brother Chris Suarez in a wrestling competition. She expressed her desire to pursue wrestling to her mother. Her mother initially hesitated and told “Girls don’t wrestle” but later showed a green flag to her.
- She completed her initial education at Northview High School and later she graduated from Lindenwood University.
- Tatiana stood 1st and won the gold medal at the Pan American Championships in 2008 and created history by being twice named “National High School Wrestler of the Year”.
