• He played in the under-15 and under-19 Gujarat cricket teams but found his career facing a bit of stagnancy. Monank played around 7 years of cricket in Gujarat.
• He got a green card in 2010 and permanently shifted to New Jersey, USA in 2016 as there was a sizeable population of Gujarati community in the USA. He was playing cricket for a living but there was a lack of cricketing structure in America.
• He made his living by playing cricket, coaching some players 3 times a week.
